Certification success that demonstrates IPG’s sustainable commitment

ItalPresseGauss (IPG) has been awarded a silver-level ESG rating by leading sustainability assessment organisation EcoVadis.

Monitoring progress to build on ‘better’.

The organisation reviewed business conduct, implemented activities and current key performance indicators (KPIs) within IPG’s integrated quality, environment, health and safety management system,
to evaluate overall performance in 4 specific areas:

Environment
Ethics
Labor and Human Rights
Sustainable Procurement

Established in 2007, the EcoVadis framework has been used by more than 100,000 business worldwide to assess and rank sustainability performance and fast-track improvement.

“We are delighted with the results of this year’s evaluation, not least because they show important progress has been made since last year. We have moved up to the 90th percentile of organisations evaluated in the ‘Silver’ category, with a particular uplift in our environmental performance – a key focus for us and Norican Group as a whole. We will leverage the feedback received to keep on improving and hopefully achieve a ‘Gold’ rating in 2024.”

Commitment to performance clarity.

It is not the only certification used by IPG to independently assess its policies, procedures and environmental progress.

As part of Norican Group, ItalPresseGauss has set science-based emissions reductions targets in line with criteria and recommendations set by the Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi).

Additionally, IPG’s company-wide Integrated Management System has also just been recertified against UNI EN ISO 9001:2015, UNI EN ISO 14001:2015, UNI ISO 45001:2018, demonstrating the company’s ongoing commitment to quality and operational excellence.

“At ItalPresseGauss we ensure that the right people and processes are in place to monitor progress and successfully execute activities designed to continuously improve efficiency, quality, environmental and health and safety performance. These certifications and validations are a vital part of demonstrating our commitment to this principle.”
